Dell “Mini- PC”- Please Say It’s True

Published by msyokum under Notebook Computers Edit This

Asus Eee PC may be in trouble. For the longest time, I’ve been wanting to get a mini pc. I was sort of leaning towards the Asus Eee PC because of its incredibly affordable pricing. However with this latest tidbit of information, I may have to wait just a bit longer. Dell has always been one of my favorite computer manufacturers. Their tech support and computer systems are phenomenal. I’ve looked at these pics and can’t wait to see if this is really true. Supposedly the new “mini- Inspiron” will have a price tag of about $500 and a choice of Ubuntu or Windows XP for the Operating System. If this is really going to be released to consumers, then they need to hurry up already. I can hardly wait.

Sporty Type of Cell Phone

Published by msyokum under Mobile Phones Edit This

Usually I don’t care about mobile phones with decorative covers, but this one definitely got my attention. It seems as though Sony Ericsson is trying to stand out from the rest with their latest release. The Sony Ericsson Ducati Z770 phone is available in Italy and it looks great. Not only is Sony Ericsson coming out with the Ducati branded covers, but they are also including the same theme for screensavers, videos, and a Bluetooth headset. This definitely takes the idea of branding a product so that consumers recognize it to an extremely high level. It’s not set to be fully launched until June and there aren’t any details about a U.S. launch date.

Go Wireless

Published by msyokum under Desktop Computers Edit This

I could really use a new wireless keyboard and mouse in my life right now. Instead of being tied down to my desktop because of a limited USB cable, I could roam about freely and in comfort. Microsoft has been extremely busy when it comes to releasing new products. The latest one is to arrive on the consumer market is the Wireless Laser Desktop 7000. It comes fully equipped with at sleek wireless keyboard and mouse. The shape of the keyboard is somewhat curved and is supposed to provide users with a more comfortable typing experience. If I decide to add these components to my current gadget collection, then I can control some of my browsing from a comfortable sofa. It also has an affordable price tag attached, so that it won’t put a major dent in my wallet.

Nokia Does It Again

Published by msyokum under Mobile Phones Edit This

Nokia makes awesome products and I have always been a fan of them. Now, they’ve done it again by coming out with the Nokia E71. Not only is it sleek looking, but it has a wonderfully large display. Reportedly, phone users will be able to do some heavy duty Internet browsing because of its clear screen. Looking at videos and photos won’t be a problem because of this great feature. Using it send and receive emails should be phenomenal. Mobile business users might also enjoy adding the Nokia E71 to their gadget collection. Hopefully, the price tag won’t be too horribly overpriced. I can hardly wait for it to be released for sale.

Mini Sized Desktop Computer

Published by msyokum under Desktop Computers Edit This

Can you imagine a mini PC without an inflated price? I came across this cool piece of information while cruising the web today. It’s rumored that Asus will be dishing out an Eee PC desktop computer. Instead of crowding your desktop with an enormous piece of equipment, you can place this device in a small corner on your desk. Supposedly it will make its debut on June 3rd. I sure hope so because that will make me so utterly happy. I’ve been looking for a min desktop unit to connect to my LCD television. The Asus Ebox is right up my alley with its 160GB hard drive, 2GB ram, and a Linux Operating System.

Awesome Multimedia Device

I’m still searching for a perfect on the go multimedia device that will be able to handle everything I throw at it. Hopefully, one day I will find one to answer my prayers. While searching, I came across the SmartQ’s T5-II handheld. I really have to say that it is very impressive and is quickly moving to the top of my gadget list. This handy little device can play multiple file formats such as FLAC, AAC, WAV, DivX, XviD, and a few more. It also has a large enough 3 inch display for enjoying some favorite videos while traveling. The best feature of all is the video out function that most handheld multimedia devices do not possess. For a $175, I’m going to keep my eye on this one.

Upgraded Media Center Remote

I caught a glance of this sleek Media Center remote control and fell in love with it. The RM-mp1 is one of the latest gadgets to hit the scene. Users can easily control their favorite slide shows, photos, videos, music, and DVD’s with the touch of a button. Instead of having to use the traditional Media Center remote control in all of it’s bulky glory, you can choose this slim device instead. It hasn’t been released for sale yet, but I know that I’m getting one as soon as it hits the consumer market. Once it is available for sale, you can select the RM-mp1 in a white or black color. Great looking device.

A Tough Digital Camera

Although I’m not a deep sea diver or excellent swimmer, I don’t mind adding this nifty little camera to my existing gadget collection. The Pentax Optio W60 can handle more natural elements than many other digital cameras can. It can be taken at least 13 feet under water for a few hours without becoming endlessly useless. Another great benefit of having this digital camera is that it’s dust resistant as well. If you are into extreme outdoor activities, then you may want to take this point and shoot camera along for the ride. Some sources say it will be ready for sale in the US by July. I can hardly wait.

Some More Streaming Fun

Streaming videos from the Internet to a television is a popular thing these days. Most of us get very tired of sitting in front of a computer to enjoy our favorite online shows. Netflix is jumping on the bandwagon and is trying to give its users what they crave. The Netflix Roku Box has an affordable price that most consumers will appreciate. Instead of having to spend hundreds of dollars for this little convenience, you only have to shell out $99 for it. Hopefully, it will be worth every penny. At least there is a 30 day money back guarantee on the device. Within the first day, you’ll be able to know if it’s a keeper.

Add a Little Popcorn and a Movie

Okay, this is another reason why I love gadgets. If I add this handy little device to my already growing collection, I’ll never want to leave home again. It’s another device that will make it even easier to stream video from a computer to a television. The cleverly named Popcorn Hour A-100 is available for pre-order right now. The overall price of the device isn’t very bad. However, you must set aside some extra money for a hard drive. The Popcorn Hour can work with a PC or MAC and it supports various file formats. Can’t wait until it is released and users start to post reviews.
